The 20th Workshop of the International Association of Phytoplankton Taxonomy and Ecology

Welcome to the 20th IAP Workshop in the Czech Republic!

We are pleased to invite you to the 20th workshop of the International Association of Phytoplankton Taxonomy and Ecology (IAP), taking place September 14–20, 2025, in Frymburk, Czech Republic. This is the first time the IAP workshop will be hosted in the Czech Republic, near the country’s largest water body, the Lipno Reservoir.

Marking its 20th edition, the IAP workshop continues to be a key platform for exchanging ideas, fostering collaborations, and connecting early-career and experienced researchers in a friendly and collegial atmosphere. The program will feature plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations, and microscopy sessions, alongside plenty of opportunities for informal discussions.
